On February 27, 2024, the Shengshilong, a 5-seat eVTOL aircraft developed by Peak Aviation Technology, fully simulated a family flight from Shenzhen Shekou Cruise Terminal to Zhuhai Jiuzhou Port Terminal, shortening the one-way 2.5 to 3-hour ground drive to 20 minutes. Shengshilong" is an eVTOL model independently developed by Peak Aviation, with composite wing configuration, maximum take-off weight of 2,000 kilograms, maximum load of 400 kilograms, maximum range of 250 kilometers, maximum cruising speed of 200 kilometers per hour, and up to five passengers, and the core modules have been 100% localized. 2023, "Shengshilong" will be the first eVTOL model to be developed in China. "Shengshilong" creates a global range record of 250.3km for a single charge flight of 2-ton eVTOL, and realizes the world's first full-size demonstrator three-aircraft formation flight mission of eVTOL with multiple aircraft and crews of more than one ton, in the same airspace and with full conversion.
This is the first public demonstration flight of the world's first cross-sea and cross-city eVTOL electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft route, crossing the bay where the Pearl River enters the sea, connecting two core important cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and flying a round trip of more than 100 kilometers.
